Where are you based?

I work from my home based counselling room in Kingswinford (DY6).

 

How long are the sessions and how many will I need?

The sessions are 50minutes and are usually on the same day and time each week however I do offer fortnightly and monthly sessions also as I understand therapy can be a big investment.

It is impossible for me to put a timeframe on how many sessions you may need or want so we will regularly review how you feel the therapy is progressing and I will follow your lead. You know yourself better than anyone and you are under no obligation to attend any longer than you want to.   

What can I expect?

I understand seeking Counselling can raise anxiety especially if it is your first time. You can expect to be provided with a safe, private and confidential space where you will be warmly welcomed. My aim is to help you feel as comfortable as possible during your sessions and I will be happy to answer any concerns you may have. We will explore what is going on for you and what you would like to get from Counselling. Together, we will work to get you where you want to be.

Counselling is a unique experience that offers you confidentiality, non-judgement, honesty and respect. You will be treated as an equal. You will be believed and understood and here’s a little secret I’ll let you in on…….

Is Counselling Confidential?

Absolutely YES! My career and integrity depends on it. What you say in Counselling is confidential and what is discussed stays between us however there are a few legal exceptions which you will be made aware of prior to your first session.  Please feel free to contact me in advance of booking for more information regarding this.

What are your opening hours and do you have evening appointments?

Yes, I currently offer 6 evening appointments on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.

My current working hours are:

Monday – Closed

Tuesday – 9am – 7.30pm

Wednesday – Closed

Thursday – 9am – 7.30pm

Friday – 9am – 5pm

Saturday – Closed

Sunday – Closed

Do you have wheelchair access?

Unfortunately, due to the layout of the property, I do not have wheelchair access. I can recommend local therapists that do, so please don’t hesitate to contact me and I can refer you to them.
